Licence Agreement

This agreement is between [Your registered business name], trading as AgencyCrate ("we", "us"), and the person or agency named on your licence key ("you"). It covers the AgencyCrate Builder software and the training and toolkit materials supplied with your pack.

1. What you are licensed to do

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

install and use the AgencyCrate Builder on up to two computers that you own or control;
build an unlimited number of websites for yourself and for your clients;
export those websites and publish them anywhere you like, with no AgencyCrate credit line once your licence key is activated (or with your own agency name, as you choose);
adapt the toolkit documents and marketing materials for your own business and your clients.

One licence covers one person or one agency. Your clients do not need a licence to own or run a website you built for them.

2. What you may not do

Share, sell, rent, lend or publish your licence key, or the installer together with your key.
Resell, give away or redistribute the AgencyCrate Builder, its templates, or the training and toolkit materials as products of their own (for example on a template marketplace, as a course, or as a download bundle). Selling the websites you build is fine.
Remove, bypass or tamper with the licence check, or reverse-engineer the software to do so.
Use the software to build websites that are unlawful, deceptive or that infringe other people's rights.
Claim that you created the AgencyCrate Builder or its materials.

3. Trial use

Without an activated key, the builder runs as a free trial. Websites exported from the trial carry a small "Built with the AgencyCrate free trial" credit line. Trial use does not give you the rights in section 1.

4. Ownership

We keep all rights in the software, templates, lessons and documents. You keep all rights in the websites you build and in the content you or your clients supply. Nothing here transfers ownership of the software to you.

5. Third-party components

The builder and the websites it creates use open and free components, including Font Awesome Free, Google Fonts (Barlow, Inter, Montserrat and others) and JSZip. Each is covered by its own licence, which continues to apply.

6. Updates and support

Your licence includes updates to the version you bought and the support described for your pack at the time of purchase. A new major version may be offered separately.

7. Term and ending the licence

The licence lasts for as long as you follow this agreement. We may cancel it, and add your key to our cancelled list, if you break section 2, if your payment is refunded, or if your payment is reversed or disputed through your payment provider. If your licence is cancelled you must stop using the software, and the websites you already built and published stay yours.

8. No warranty, limited liability

The software is provided "as is". We try hard to make it reliable, but we do not promise that it will be free of errors or suit every purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid. This does not limit rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be limited by agreement.

9. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the law of South Africa, subject to any mandatory consumer rights where you live.
